As a light, convenient and safe mode of transport with a small turning circle, the bicycle is irreplaceable in our daily lives. It is used in a wide variety of situations – commuting to work or school, shopping, leisure and sports. However, a great variety of technical developments and improvements had to be made before arriving at the bicycles we know today. In this exhibition room visitors are able to learn about the evolution and history of bicycle technologies by looking at exhibits of genuine items.
