Visitors using wheelchairs
- There are slopes to the left and right of the Science Museum entrance
- There is an elevator in the center of the museum building (please ask staff for assistance)
- Multipurpose toilets catering for those in wheelchairs are located on the 1st, 3rd and 4th floors
- Wheelchairs are available to be borrowed. Please inquire to the staff on the 1st floor ticket counter .
Visitors with hearing disabilities

- There is a restroom usable by ostomates on the 3rd floor.
*Note that hot water is not dispensed.
Visitors with small children
- There is a lactation space on the 5th floor (there is no hot or cold water).
- There are baby seats and baby chairs in the multipurpose rooms on the 1st, 3rd and 4th floors (and a baby seat in the 5th floor lactation space).
- Please ask at the 5th floor staff counter about borrowing the 5th floor-only baby cars (available on a first-come first-served basis.
Other information
- Automated external defibrillators (AED) are installed at the right side of the 1st floor main entrance and the Science Museum office on the 4th floor.
- The First Aid Room is inside the Science Museum offices on the 4th floor (there are no medical staff in attendance so it is not possible to make diagnoses or provide medicine)
- Please ask the ticket counter staff on the 1st floor about places where you can pray.

Tokyo Museum Grutto Pass
The Science Museum is a participant in the Tokyo Museum Grutto Pass scheme, and pass holders can gain admission free of charge.
Tokyo Museum Grutto Pass is a pass consisting of a set of entrance tickets and discount tickets for more than 100 facilities, mainly in the Tokyo area. The passes can be purchased at the 1st floor ticket counter.
- (1) Valid for two months after first use, and expiring on March 31.
- (2) Stamps for the stamp rally are on the 3rd floor.
